Overview:
Our client is seeking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for a private residence or a commercial establishment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating a welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including cleaning countertops, appliances, and dishes.
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Ensure towels and other linens are clean and appropriately stored.
- Organize and tidy up rooms, closets, and storage areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored safely and properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Interact with clients or guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to any specific cleaning or organizational requests.
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of clients.
Qualifications:
- High school Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Any college certification is a plus.
